Robert Jankel

Robert Jankel (born January 1, 1938 in London - † May 25, 2005 ) was a British designer for automobiles and the founder of Panther Westwinds . The Jankel Group he founded has been building special vehicles since the 1980s.

education

After graduating from St Paul's School , he studied at Chelsea College in London. After unsuccessful attempts to work as a car salesman, he agreed to join the family company Goldenfields, specializing in children's and youth fashions. In 1972 he sold his shares and founded the company Panther Westwinds based in Weybridge in the county of Surrey in the south east of England .

Professional performance

With the Panther DeVille, Jankel offered the most expensive British automobile of the 1970s. Jankel was also successful in the fashion industry.
