Robert Johnston
Robert Johnston (born October 14, 1818 in Rockbridge County , Virginia , † November 6, 1885 in Harrisonburg , Virginia) was a Confederate politician .
Before the outbreak of the Civil War, Johnston was active in the State Legislature of Virginia and represented it in the Provisional , the 1st and the 2nd Confederate Congress after the secession of his state . After the war, he served as a judge in Virginia from 1880 to 1885.
Johnston died of tuberculosis in Harrisonburg, Virginia and was buried in Woodbine Cemetery .
