Robert Knight (born April 24, 1945 in Franklin , Tennessee , † November 5, 2017 ) was an American singer .

Career

Robert Knight first sang in the church choir and then joined the Paramounts group . From 1961 he appeared as a soloist and in the same year had his first success with the song Free me . He achieved a chart placement for the first time in 1967 with Everlasting Love , which he repeated in 1974.
