Robert Lorenz (District Administrator)

Robert Ernst Bernhardt Lorenz (born October 26, 1872 in Tarnowo, district of Kosten, † 1948 in Hecklingen ) was a German administrative officer and manor owner.

Life

Robert Lorenz was a son of the manor owner and state economics councilor Bernhardt Lorenz auf Pianowo and Marie, nee. Lehmann He attended the Friedrich-Wilhelm-Gymnasiumi in Posen, where he passed the school leaving examination in 1891, and then studied law at the universities of Tübingen and Leipzig . In 1892 he became a member of the Corps Suevia Tübingen . In the same year he joined the Corps Misnia Leipzig . In 1896 he passed the legal traineeship exam. jur. he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1902 he passed the government assessor exam with the government in Poznan . There he was first government assessor, he came after costs and was from 1907 until the transfer to Poland district administrator of the cost district . As the owner of the Nielęgowo manor, he continued to live in Poland. From 1943 to 1945 he was deputy again district administrator of the district of Kosten (Wartheland) . As a refugee from the East , he died in Hecklingen in 1948.
