Robert Morgan (writer)

Robert Morgan (born 1921 in Penrhiwceiber , Glamorganshire , † 1994 ) was a Welsh writer and painter.

Life

Morgan was born the son of a miner . He attended school until he was 14 and then worked in a mine for twelve years . From 1947 he studied in Birmingham at Fircroft College and made a teacher exams at the College of Education in Bognor Regis in 1953 . Another study took place in 1969 at Southampton University. Until 1980/81 he was employed as a teacher at special schools and from then on worked as a painter and writer

He wrote poems and short stories.
