Robert Moser is a former Austrian ski jumper and today's ski jumping official.
Career
Moser made his first international appearance at the 1994 Ski Jumping Grand Prix . He finished 25th together with Noriaki Kasai, which meant his best World Cup placement. He immediately achieved 181 points in the four competitions and in the end, together with Toni Nieminen from Finland, he finished 46th overall. From 1995 he started in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . He achieved only five points in the 1995/96 season and ended up in 127th place overall. Also in the 1997/98 season he did not get beyond this place and only reached 48 points, which was his best result of the season of his career. He set a new Carinthian record at 192.5 meters when flying on the Kulm. In the following and his last season 1998/99 he reached the 127th place with only 26 points.
After his active career, Moser became a ski jumping trainer and is actively involved in promoting young talent in Vienna and Villach and as head of public relations and organization at the Carinthian State Ski Association .
Robert Moser's brother Christian was also a successful ski jumper.
