Robert Pölzer

Robert Pölzer (born July 1, 1961 in Augsburg ) is a German journalist.

Life

Pölzer studied newspaper sciences and completed a traineeship at the Munich media service teleschau from 1983 to 1985 . He then worked as a picture reporter in Munich until 1987 .

In 1988 he was appointed deputy editor-in-chief of the women's magazine Echo der Frau . From 1991 to 1993 he was editor-in-chief for Superillu . In 1993 he was deputy editor-in-chief at the women's magazine das neue . In 1994 he became editor-in-chief of Neue Revue , whose editorial department he headed until 1999. He then handed the sheet over to Peter Bartels with an IVW-checked print run of 378,000 copies .

In 1999, Pölzer returned to Axel Springer AG and initially became photo boss at Bild am Sonntag . In 2001 he became deputy editor-in-chief of Bild-Zeitung and Bild am Sonntag. From 2003 to July 2007 he was editor-in-chief of Neue Woche at Hubert Burda Media . From August 2007 to June 2016 he was editor-in-chief of Freizeit Revue and the magazine Freizeit Spass , as well as editorial director. Since 2015 he has also been responsible for the monthly magazine “Freizeit exclusiv”.

On July 1, 2016, Pölzer became editor-in-chief of Bunten, succeeding Patricia Riekel .
