Robert P. George

Robert P. George (born July 10, 1955 in Morgantown , West Virginia ) is an American law scholar and university professor.

Life

After finishing school, George studied law. He attended Swarthmore College (BA), Harvard Law School (JD), Harvard Divinity School (MTS) and Oxford University (DPhil). George has been a law professor at Princeton University since 1985 . His main research interests include natural law . George is the chairman of the US National Organization for Marriage and is a conservative opponent of same-sex marriage and abortion .
