Robert ParkeHarrison

Robert ParkeHarrison (born 1968 in Fort Leonard Wood , Pulaski County (Missouri) ) is an American photographer .

ParkeHarrison studied at the Kansas City Art Institute and the University of New Mexico , where he received his Master of Fine Arts in 1994. Since the mid-1990s he has been addressing the interaction between nature and man in lavishly composed pictures, in particular the destruction of nature by modern civilization. With over 48 exhibitions shown around the world and inclusion in important collections such as the American Art Museum of the Smithsonian Institution , he is one of the leading exponents of contemporary, surrealist art photography. Since 2001 he has been designing and developing his recordings together with his wife Shana Parke-Harrison .
