Robert Puiseux

Robert Puiseux (born March 1, 1892 in Paris , † February 23, 1991 in Clermont-Ferrand ) was a French manager at the tire manufacturer Michelin . The radial tire was developed under his responsibility .

Robert Puiseux is the son of the astronomer Pierre Puiseux (1855–1928). He married Anne Michelin, the daughter of Édouard Michelin and, after his death in 1940, took over the management of the tire manufacturer together with Pierre-Jules Boulanger .
