Robert Rober

Robert Rober (* 1926 ; † before August 22, 2008 ) was a German film and theater actor.

Life

Robert was born to a Berliner and a Viennese. He trained as an actor at the Max Reinhardt Seminar . He worked as a theater actor in Vienna, Hamburg , Munich and Berlin , but also took on roles in cinema and television films as well as television series. Rober was also active as a writer and wrote the book actor anecdotes, which was based on the stories told by his colleagues and his own experiences in the theater.

Rober was a passionate record collector and owned around 30,000 of them. He was friends with Johannes Heesters , with whom he went on a theater tour. In 2008, Rober died of cancer.
