Robert Sigel
Robert Friedrich Sigel (born June 6, 1820 in Stuttgart , † August 16, 1869 in Marbach am Neckar ) was a German local politician and member of the state parliament.

Robert Sigel was the son of the Stuttgart archivist Karl Friedrich Sigel and Wilhelmine Friederike Knauss. In 1847 he married Bertha Friederike Keyler (1824–1902), with her he had nine children.
job
Robert Sigel studied law in Tübingen . From 1845 he worked as a court actuary in Marbach. In 1847 he was elected to the city school. He held this office until 1869. However, as early as 1868, due to a serious illness, he had to leave the management of the official business to the Marbach council clerk Eduard Fischer, who then also became his successor in 1869.
politics
In 1851 Robert Sigel was elected to the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament as a representative of the Marbach Oberamt . He held this office until 1856. He did not stand for election in 1855.
