Robert Stoltenberg

Robert Stoltenberg (born April 17, 1965 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian comedian , actor and television producer . As part of his broadcasts, he created many television characters known in Norway.

Life

Stoltenberg grew up with his twin brother Harald in Oslo and Fetsund . At the age of 17 he started working for the Norwegian broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK) in a radio program. He is a trained television director. In 1990 he appeared on television for the first time, where he and his twin brother presented the music program Panorama . From 1999 to 2002 he played the role of Yngve Freiholt in the Åpen Post program . In this role he also hosted the program Copacabana in 2000 . In 2002, Stoltenberg had his major breakthrough with the television series Borettslaget , which was broadcast in three seasons until 2008 and followed various characters in an urban residential complex. He has worked as both a screenwriter and an actor and has received several awards for the series. He played characters such as Roy Narvestad , the fashion expert Yngve Freiholt and Piirka Kellivoite Kollonemi in the show . The figure of Roy Narvestad served as the basis for the series Narvestad tar ferie in 2017 , in which he travels to different countries.

Between 2013 and 2016 he was a member of the Underholdningsavdelingen ensemble , a comedy show in which new skits were recorded every week. Stoltenberg also worked as a presenter, for example in 2019 for Sommeråpent and TV-aksjon .

Stoltenberg is the head of his own company, Stoltenberg media og underholdning . He appeared for a long time in interviews in the form of his characters, only later did he give occasional interviews as himself. In 2011 he mentioned on the talk show Skavlan that he was gay, shortly afterwards he announced that he had been a partner for 22 years have.
