Robert Zehentner

Robert Zehentner (born October 2, 1951 ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and farmer . Zehentner was a member of the Salzburg state parliament from 1989 to 2012 .

Life

Zehentner works as a farmer and manager of the Tauernlammgenossenschaft.

Zehentner is married and has five children. He fell ill with cancer in 1999 and 2005.

politics

Zehentner stood in the 2005 Chamber of Agriculture elections as the top candidate of the SPÖ farmers and has been a member of the Salzburg state parliament for many years. Until 2009 he held the function of the SPÖ area spokesman for agriculture and genetic engineering and, after the election, took over the agendas for agriculture, hunting, genetic engineering, forest roads and fishing. In the state elections in 2009, Zehentner is running for third place on the SPÖ regional list in Pinzgau.
