Roberta Brunet

Roberta Brunet (born May 20, 1965 in Aosta ) is an Italian long-distance runner and Olympic bronze medalist.

She won the bronze medal in the 5000 meter run at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta behind the Chinese Wang Junxia and the Kenyan Pauline Konga (KEN). At the World Athletics Championships in Athens in 1997 , she won the silver medal behind the Romanian Gabriela Szabo and in front of the Portuguese Fernanda Ribeiro .
