Roberto Bardéz

Roberto Bardéz ( Robert Bäurle ; born December 6, 1962 in Buenos Aires , † December 26, 2010 in Corfu) was a German journalist and writer . Roberto Bardéz is a pseudonym for the real name of the author, Robert Bäurle.

Roberto Bardéz says he comes from Argentina and is a well-known crime writer there. He is said to have been born in Buenos Aires in the early 1960s. Since his father is said to have been transferred more often as a diplomat, Roberto is said to have had an exciting childhood. He is said to have turned to writing at an early age. After a private tragedy that is said to have made him almost a terrorist, he became a crime writer.

Crime series

Bäurle has brought the crime series "The Bull of Corfu" into being. The falls mostly take place in the northwest of the island of Corfu. Real people are involved as well as fictional ones. The locations are mostly real. The cases are solved by Roberto Bardéz, who writes in first-person form, and a friend, the former German detective inspector Hartmut Kolbe, and with the help of the local gendarme Georgos Katsatopoulos, the district chief of the Karousades community, and Manousos, a local building contractor.
