Roberto Colombo (born August 24, 1975 in Monza , Italy ) is a former Italian football player .
Career
Colombo comes from the youth of AC Milan , has been part of the professional squad of Milan since 1994 . In order to gain experience and match practice, he was awarded to various lower-class clubs from 1995 to 1999. In 2000 he left AC Milan and joined Calcio Padova , where he became a regular goalkeeper. He completed a total of 126 games for Padua by 2005. after a year as a regular goalkeeper at San Marino Calcio , he moved back to Italy and became the second goalkeeper of FC Bologna . In 2010 he moved to US Triestina and was again part of the permanent staff. Nevertheless, he left Trieste in 2011 and was signed by SSC Napoli , where he acts as a substitute goalkeeper. After two more years at Cagliari Calcio , also as a substitute goalkeeper, Colombo ended his career in the summer of 2017.
