Roberto Emílio da Cunha (born June 20, 1912 in Niterói , RJ ; † March 20, 1977 ibid) was a Brazilian football player .

Career

Roberto played in the course of his career he first played for the Flamengo Rio de Janeiro . Here he is said to have scored 19 goals in 52 games in two years. Then he went to São Cristóvão FR also from Rio de Janeiro . He is said to have scored 81 goals in 135 games in his six-year stay.

National team

In the national team, Roberto had his first appearance at the Copa América in 1937 . Here the team just missed the title. The player received additional missions at the 1938 World Cup .
