Roberto Giardina

Roberto Giardina (born 1940 in Palermo ) is an Italian journalist and author of non-fiction and novels.

Life

Roberto Giardina worked as a journalist in Sicily and in 1986 went to Bonn as a foreign correspondent for the newspapers La Nazione and Il Giorno . He moved with the government of united Germany to Berlin , where he took up residence.

Giardina has published novels and non-fiction books, some of which have been translated into French, Spanish and German. He has written books especially for Germans and Italians that describe the other nation. He wrote a chronicle for the commemorative year 2015 for Italy's entry into the First World War.
