Roberto Malenotti

Roberto Malenotti (born June 6, 1939 in Pisa ) is an Italian director .

Life

The son of the film producer Maleno Malenotti began working in film in 1960 as an assistant to important Hollywood directors who realized Italian productions. He worked for Nicholas Ray , Richard Fleischer and Vincente Minnelli . In 1963 he shot for Folco Quilici on the second staff. After quarreling with the producer, Malenotti then got the credits for slaves today - business without mercy . Embrace followed in 1969 based on his own script. Then Malenotti turned to commercials and was mainly active in the USA , where he was also awarded the Clio Award .

In 1971 Malenotti directed the Coca-Cola commercial "Hilltop".

Back in Italy, some documentaries were made (such as La spirale della paura and Perché paura ). In addition to occasional production work, his third and last cinema directing work Cinderella '80 - also written and produced under other first names - became known in German-speaking countries before he staged several more television productions.
