Roberto Saccà (* 1961 ) is a German-Italian opera singer ( tenor ).

Life

Roberto Saccà was born in Germany to an Italian father and a German mother and grew up in Stuttgart . He studied singing at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart with Bruce Abel and at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe with Aldo Baldin . After brief stints in Würzburg and Wiesbaden, Saccà was a permanent soloist at the Zurich Opera House from 1993 to 2002 . He achieved international fame in 1995 in Orfeo under Nikolaus Harnoncourt at the Wiener Festwochen .
