Aldo Baldin

Aldo Baldin (born January 1, 1945 in Urussanga , Santa Catarina ; † January 5, 1994 in Waldbronn ) was a Brazilian opera and concert singer ( tenor ).

Life

Baldin received singing and cello lessons from Heloisa Nemoto Vergara and Jean-Jacques Pagnot at the Escola Superior de Música da UFRGS in Porto Alegre . A vocal studies he graduated from the University in Rio de Janeiro with Roberto Miranda and Eliane Sampaio.

With the support of the conductor Karl Richter and a scholarship from the DAAD , he continued his musical training in singing at the Musikhochschule Frankfurt a. M. continued with Martin Gründler . Further stations of his training included Berlin with Margarethe von Winterfeldt and Paris. He made his debut at the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern in 1975, at the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires in 1980 and at La Scala in Milan in 1981 . He taught a. a. at the Musikhochschule Blumenau (Brazil) , at the State Universities of Music in Heidelberg, Mannheim and Karlsruhe.

Recordings mainly include cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach .
