Roberto Welin (* 9. April 1966 in São Paulo ) is a former Swedish boxer in the welterweight and light middleweight .

Roberto Welin won the welterweight gold medal in 1991 at the European Championships in Gothenburg by winning the final against Vladimir Ereschchenko from the Soviet Union. This makes him the only Swedish European Championship title winner at amateur boxing championships since 1951.

He also reached the quarter-finals of the European Championships in Athens in 1989 , as well as the quarter-finals of the World Championships in Moscow in 1989 and in Sydney in 1991 . At the World Championships he failed to Raúl Márquez and Andreas Otto . In the European Olympic qualification in 1992 he was just defeated by György Mizsei and Orhan Delibaş .

From 1992 to 1996 he played 27 professional fights with 23 wins and four losses. He fought 22 of the fights in the USA.
