RobiHachi ( Japanese ロ ビ ハ チ ) is an anime television series from Studio Comet from 2019. The space comedy was directed by Shinji Takamatsu and based on an idea by Hiroko Kanasugi and was published internationally via streaming.

action

In the distant future, the good-for-nothing Robi Yarge got into debt after another love affair with a crazy business idea ripped him off. Hachi Kita is now supposed to collect the money borrowed from loan shark Yang from him. The young man is bored of his life, which has always made life easy for him. When Robi sets out to flee from Yang, Hachi is locked in his spaceship and decides to accompany him and finally to experience adventure. Robi, who is also accompanied by his rabbit-eared household robot JPS-19, initially refuses. But when Yang and his assistants also pursue Gras and Allo, he and Hachi have to shake off their pursuers with a mecha that was hidden in the ship. So from then on they start the journey together to the universally advertised planet Iskandar. It should be a paradise, but the path leads over many stages.

On their first stages, they stop on Mars and Pluto. There they unintentionally give local tourism a boost. This also brings their pursuers on their trail. This is followed by stops on other planets in the Milky Way, where exotic beings live and dangers lurk. Eventually the three of them arrive at the Hakone space station, from where an intergalactic route takes them directly to Iskandar. The trip threatens to fail because Robi threatens not to be allowed through the border control with his debtor entry. After a heated argument, Hachi secretly pays Robi's debts, so that the passage succeeds.

When they arrive on Iskandar, the two - in contrast to their robot - have a lot of fun on the amusement park-like planet and acquire one of the lucky gems. However, it turns out to be a fake for tourists. The three still find the real, very modest shrine of real stone before Yang and his helpers find them here too. Before their departure, a fleet arrives that turns out to be that of the Earth's moon. Hachi is actually their prince, which is why he is rich and has gone through life without any problems, and he wanted to escape his sheltered life with this adventure. They flee from their pursuers to end the journey together. When returning to Earth, they accidentally save from an attack by aliens with their mecha. They are celebrated as heroes, Robi, who unnoticed took a real gem from Iskandar, is finally lucky and gets rich and Hachi returns to the moon. But after a short time Robi burned down like before. Hachi offers him to go on a new trip together.
