Robin Rehmann

Robin Rehmann (* 21st January 1981 in Zurich ) is a Swiss television and radio presenter , Vlogger and DJ.

From 1998 to 2001 Robin Rehmann broadcast the radio play program “Binggeli” as producer, presenter and editor on Basel Radio X. At the age of 18 he won the Swiss youth literary competition "The Basler Eule". After a year-long stint at the US radio station UW Fox Wisconsin, he worked for VIVA Switzerland from 2002 to 2008 as a television presenter and editor. At VIVA he moderated the shows Interaktiv, Trend Charts, Swiss Space and Swiss Space Talk, among others.

Robin Rehmann has been a presenter for the national youth radio SRF Virus since 2005 .

From 2007 to 2009 Robin Rehmann produced a short film every day for one year for the internet platform youme.net, which shows his life uncensored. Since 2012 he has also worked for Swiss television a . a. in the shows Virus and MusicLAB. With his punk band Krank he released four albums and performed in Switzerland and Germany. He tours as Party Hart with Dominique Heller and as Fly Guys with Benny Reinhold.

Rehmann produces the YouTube channel radically abnormal .

Robin Rehmann has suffered from the chronic intestinal disease ulcerative colitis since 2012 , which he repeatedly discussed in the media and in his own vlog. In 2016 he launched his program "SOS - Sick Of Silence" on SRF Virus, in which he talks to people suffering from a chronic or mental illness. In 2018 he received the "Swiss Diversity Award" for this.

In 2017, together with Marc Vogel, he published the book "Stones in the stomach - My life with ulcerative colitis", in which he talks about his illness openly and without taboos.

In 2018, SRF Rehmann portrayed Rehmann in the documentary film "Weiterleben, anyway" by Patrick Schellenberg.

Rehmann lives in Zurich .
