Robin Sarstedt

Clive Robin Sarstedt (also Wes Sands , Clive Sands ) (born January 21, 1944 in Delhi , British India ) is a British singer .

Life

Robin Sarstedt was born with his brothers Peter and Richard in what was then the British colony of India as the son of English colonial officials. In 1954 he moved to England with his mother, father and two brothers . Robin's father died before he even arrived.

At the beginning of the 1960s he advanced to the side of his brother Richard (who became known under the stage name Eden Kane ) to a teenage idol, later he began a solo career. Sarstedt first appeared under the name Wes Sands and later as Clive Sands . As Robin Sarstedt , he finally had a hit in 1976 with a cover version of My Resistance Is Low . He also wrote songs for his brother Peter.
