The Rocas Cosme Macie are a group of cliff rocks in the archipelago of the Adelaide and Biscoe Islands west of the Antarctic Peninsula . They are located south-southwest of Mount Vélain in Caleta Maciel , a side bay of Hanusse Bay in the northeast of Adelaide Island .
Argentine scientists named it after the Argentine politician Cosme Maciel (1784-1850).
