The Rocas Yeco ( Spanish ) are a group of three cliff rocks in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . They are located immediately west of the Punta Yeco headland in front of Playa Schiappacasse in front of the west side of Cape Shirreff on Livingston Island .
Scientists of the 45th Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1990–1991) named it after the name of the neighboring headland. This in turn bears the common name in Chile for the Antarctic shear ( Leucocarbo bransfieldensis ).
