Bernhard von Königseck

Bernhard von Königseck (* 1587 ; † June 19, 1653 ) was a Prussian statesman .

Life

Bernhard was a member of the Prussian line of those von Königseck . He became court judge in 1614 . In 1625 he moved to Angerburg as district administrator and captain . From 1636 he was state director and captain of Brandenburg . Königseck was one of the three Prussian ambassadors who negotiated the Stuhmsdorf Treaty . On May 1, 1641 he was appointed senior councilor and burgrave in Prussia.

He was also the Electoral Brandenburg Regimental Councilor and heir to Skandau .
