Rochemolles is a fraction of the Italian municipality ( comune ) Bardonecchia in the metropolitan city of Turin , Piedmont .
geography
Rochemolles is located north of Bardonecchia at a little more than 1600 m altitude in the Valle di Rochemolles. Rochemolles can only be reached from the main town via a narrow, winding road, which is also the start of the ascent to the Col de Sommeiller . To the northeast of the village lies the Rochemolles reservoir in the upper Rochemolles Valley.
history
From 1336 to 1926 Rochemolles was an independent place, then it was assigned to the city of Bardonecchia as part of a land reform.
