The Rochray Glacier is an 8 km long glacier on Thurston Island off the Eights coast of West Antarctic Ellsworthland . It flows east of Hendersin Knob in a southerly direction to the Abbot Ice Shelf in Peacock Sound .

Its position was determined from aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy during Operation Highjump (1946–1947) in December 1946. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1960 after Lieutenant Samuel Rochray, a helicopter pilot aboard the icebreaker USS Glacier during the US Navy's research expedition to the Bellingshausen Sea in February 1960 .
