Rochus Chapel (Düsseldorf)
The Rochus Chapel in Düsseldorf existed from 1667 to 1897.
history
In 1448 the veneration of St. Rochus in Pempelfort occupied. In 1667 the chapel was built when the plague epidemic had subsided . It was a single-nave construction. The floor plan was cross-shaped and the sacred space was vaulted inside. An eight-sided roof turret rose above the crossing . After the Rochuskirche was completed, the chapel was demolished.
