Rodrigo Ribeiro

Rodrigo Ribeiro (born January 27, 1979 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a former Brazilian racing driver .

Career

In 2001 Ribeiro began his motorsport career in formula racing in the B-Class of the Brazilian Formula Chevrolet . He finished twelfth and also made his debut in the South American Formula 3 Championship. In 2002 he contested the entire South American Formula 3 season and improved to seventh place in the B-Class with four podium finishes. In 2003 he dominated the B-Class of the South American Formula 3 Championship and won eleven of 16 races. In 2004 he switched to the international Formula 3000 championship at Durango . The Brazilian scored a point in race two, but couldn't keep up with his team-mate Yannick Schroeder and was eventually replaced by Ernesto Viso after four races . At the end of the season he finished 17th overall.

After the end of his Formula 3000 career, Ribeiro did not start any more races.
