Yannick Schroeder

Yannick Schroeder (born August 10, 1979 in Metz ) is a French racing driver .

After Schroeder in 1995 in karting was active, he moved in 1996 to the single-seater racing in the French Formula Renault Campus . He then competed in French Formula Renault for two years and finished seventh overall in 1998. In 1999 the Frenchman switched to the French Formula 3 championship . After tenth place in the first season, he finished ninth overall in his second season. In 2001 he changed series again and competed in the Euro 3000 for two years . After finishing 15th in his first season, he improved to sixth overall in 2002.

In 2003 Schroeder switched to Formula 3000 . As a team mate of Jaroslav Janiš he started for the Czech team Superfund ISR - Charouz . The Frenchman, who scored points in five races, left his team two races before the end of the season and finished twelfth overall. In 2004 Schroeder stayed in Formula 3000 and competed in his second season for Durango Corse . For financial reasons, his season ended again two races before the end of the season and he was replaced by Matteo Meneghello . With a third place as the best result, he finished ninth overall at the end of the season.

After he had not received a cockpit after the 2004 season, Schroeder ended his motorsport career.
