Rodrigo de Castro Pereira (born July 22, 1887 , † 1983 ) was a Portuguese tennis player .

Career

De Castro Pereira was one of the strongest players in the early days of tennis in Portugal. In 1924 he took part in the Summer Olympics in Paris, where he lost to the Argentine Arturo Hortal in the first round . In 1931 he became Portuguese champion and in 1934 president of the Federação Portuguesa de Lawn tennis association .

From 1957 to 1967 he was President of the Portuguese Equestrian Federation Federação Equestre Portuguesa .
