The Rodriquez Pond is a permanent zugefrorener freshwater tümpel in East Antarctic Victoria Land . Compared to Redman Pond to the southeast, it is the larger of the two ponds that lie west of Hoffman Ledge in Healy Trough in the plain in the west of Wright Valley known as the labyrinth .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2004, initially incorrectly spelling it, as Rodriquez Pond after Russell J. Rodriguez (* 1956) from the United States Geological Survey , who examined the pond between 2003 and 2004 as part of the United States Antarctic Program .
