Roger Bissière

Roger Bissière (born September 22, 1886 in Villeréal , Département Lot-et-Garonne , † December 2, 1964 in Boissirette , Département Lot ) was a French painter of tachism and glass painter .

Bissière began in the succession of Cubism and developed a dreamy-poetic style under the influence of Paul Klee . Finally he came to delicately colored, abstract structures.

Roger Bissière was a participant in documenta 1 (1955), documenta II (1959), and also documenta III in 1964 in Kassel .
