Roger Closset (born February 11, 1933 in Paris ) is a former French foil fencer .
successes
Roger Closset won the silver medal with the team at the world championships in Luxembourg in 1954 and in Paris in 1957 , before becoming world champion with her in 1958 in Philadelphia . Closset took part in the Olympic Games twice: At the 1956 Olympic Games in Melbourne , he reached the final round with the team. He finished this together with Bernard Baudoux , Claude Netter , René Coicaud , Jacques Lataste and Christian d'Oriola in silver behind Italy and ahead of Hungary . 1960 Closset finished sixth in the individual competition in Rome .
