Roger L. Simon (born November 2, 1943 in New York City ) is an American writer , screenwriter and film director.

Life

Simon is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Yale School of Drama . He wrote u. a. several crime novels and appeared as a screenwriter from the late 1970s. In 1971 the film Jennifer On My Mind was created based on his literary source . In 1985 Simon made his directorial debut with Zwei dufte Kumpel . A second film followed in 1998 with Eine Liebe in Prag . For Work on Enemies - A Love Story , Simon was nominated at the 1990 Academy Awards, together with Paul Mazursky, for an Oscar in the Best Adapted Screenplay category.

Simon is the co-founder of PJ Media, an internet blog. He himself appears there as an author.
