Roger de Pins also Rogerius Pinaeus, Rogerus de Pinibus , († May 28, 1365 ) from the tongue of Provence was from 1355 until his death in 1365 the 29th Grand Master of the Order of St. John on Rhodes .

Soon after his election he introduced reforms of the statutes to remind the knights of the rules of charity and service to the poor and sick, which have always been fundamental to the order.

During his tenure he conducted only one general chapter , but in which many important and useful initiatives for the good government of the Order were laid down, including the establishment of an institution of (treasure) recipients who were charged with generating income in the various priories and transfer them to the Common Treasury.

He was a very compassionate and benevolent man and it is said that during the plague in Rhodes and a great famine in Greece he kept only what he needed to live and distributed all the rest among the poor and the sick, and that he was fervent and wise campaigned to buy grain and other foodstuffs to help the affected population. He therefore received the title of "almsgiver" among the people.
