Roger de Vautort (also Roger de Vautort II ) (* between 1164 and 1166; † November 1206 ) was an English nobleman.

Roger de Vautort came from the Anglo-Norman family Vautort . He was still a minor when his father Ralph de Vautort died in 1171 or 1172. His uncle, Johel de Vautort, was in charge of managing his vast heritage in Devon and Cornwall until Roger came of age in 1186 or 1187. In the early 1190s, Roger de Vautort was part of the retinue of William de Redvers, 5th Earl of Devon . For the next few years he served in the army of King Richard the Lionheart in Normandy . On the occasion of his marriage to Alesia, Johann Ohneland , who had succeeded Richard the Lionhearted King in 1199 , gave him the royal estate of Callington in Cornwall. Shortly before Roger's death, the king promised him a share of the legacy of the Nonant family . This included parts of the Honor of Totnes in Devon, which came into the possession of the Vautort family as the Honor of Harberton . These possessions had previously belonged to William de Briouze , who, however, had lost the royal favor.

Roger's heir became his son Reginald II de Vautort .
