Rogier Krohne (born November 23, 1986 in Eelde ) is a Dutch football player who has played for the second team of FC Schalke 04 since January 2017 .

Career

In his youth, Krohne played for VV Actief, GRC Groningen and FC Groningen . At the age of 18 he was taken over to the Groningen professional team. He played four games in the Eredivisie until 2008 . In 2008 he moved to the second division for FC Emmen . Even with this he could not win a regular place for himself. After a year he went to the German fifth division club BV Cloppenburg . In the 2011/12 season Cloppenburg was promoted to the Regionalliga Nord , to which Krone contributed with 14 goals. In the following season, Krohne was the top scorer in the Regionalliga Nord with 24 goals. For the 2013/14 season he moved to Preußen Münster. He signed a two-year contract. He scored the goal for Münster against Bayern Munich in the DFB Cup on August 17, 2014 . For the 2016/17 season he returned to FC Emmen, which he left during the winter break to switch to the second team at FC Schalke 04 .
