Roland Fink

Roland Fink (* 1937 in Bern ) is a Swiss choir director and musician ( guitarist ) and music teacher .

Life

Fink grew up in Solothurn . After a discontinued commercial apprenticeship, he moved to Zurich in 1957 and went through various professional positions. In 1963 he obtained the federal B-Matura . With the teacher's license from the Canton of Zurich , he worked as a primary school teacher from 1966 and later as a business teacher. From 1968 to 1971 he attended the Winterthur Conservatory , where he was trained by Ernst Hess and Willi Gohl in the areas of music theory and choral conducting .

As an arranger , composer , conductor and guitarist, he founded the mixed choir Roland Fink Singers in 1965 , the Music School Effretikon in 1968 , as its director until 1985, and the Frenesi Youth Orchestra in 1975 . Today he is freelance.
