Roland Geissler

Roland Geißler (* 1953 ) is a German non-fiction author of several hiking guides with bike tour suggestions .

The travel agent who lives in Leinefelde in Eichsfeld has worked as a freelancer for various newspapers since 1991 and has been a hiker since 1982. In 1996 he had the idea to hike the entire Eichsfeld and to write a comprehensive hiking guide about it, which was published in 1998. The print run that ran out within a short period of time prompted him to have more works to follow.
