Roland Haas
Roland Haas (* 1958 in Bludenz ) is an Austrian artist.
Life
In 1977/1978 Haas studied architecture at the Graz University of Technology and from 1978 to 1984 at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna . After the diploma for painting and a teaching degree in pictorial education and work education , he was from 1994 to 1996 and from 2000 to 2009 artistic director of the Academy of Painting Castle Goldegg (Salzburg) .
In 1996 he was co-founder of the Montafon Art Forum and its artistic director. Since 1998 he has been the project manager of the SilvrettAteliers, artistic symposia / Bielerhöhe and teaches at the Wildkogel Academy and the EKA Trier, among others. In 2001 Haas was visiting professor at the Glassell School of Art, Houston, Texas.

Roland Haas dedicates his artistic work to classical and experimental watercolor and acrylic painting, as well as "Landart", an art project that focuses on the reflections of colors, shapes and structures of archetypal landscape scenarios. Haas also works with architects on art and construction projects.
