Roland Imhoff

Roland Imhoff (* 1977 in Bonn ) is a German psychologist and professor of social and legal psychology at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz .

Life

He studied psychology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn , where he also received his doctorate and taught until 2012. He was then junior professor for social psychology: Social Cognition at the University of Cologne . Since October 2015 he has held the professorship for social and legal psychology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz . In addition, he has been editor of the European Journal of Social Psychology since January 2018 and Associate Editor at Archives of Sexual Behavior since 2017 .

research

In his research, Roland Imhoff deals primarily with stereotypes , prejudices , conspiracy theories , representations of history, automatic processes of sexual preferences and implicit social cognitions .
