Roland Kübler

Roland Kübler (born July 11, 1953 in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt ) is a German author and publisher .

Live and act

Roland Kübler grew up in Fellbach near Stuttgart. After graduating from the business school in Waiblingen , he studied economics and German . He then worked as a teacher at the vocational school in Schwäbisch Gmünd and took up a degree in pedagogy at the same time. He later resigned from school and has since worked as a freelance writer, editor, editor and publisher. In addition, he has been co-initiator and organizer of the Fellbach Fairy Tale Days since 1994.

His first release was in 1983, a contribution in him and Heinz grains grains Lucy Verlag published bestselling tales - Anthology The colors of reality - a storybook with sold over a million copies. In 1986, Lucy Körner Verlag also published Der Gesang des Wales - Ein Märchen, his first independent book publication, which was followed by more in the Stendel Verlag, which he founded together with his wife Dagmar Stendel-Kübler in 1987 . In his publishing house he also appeared several times as (co-) editor of anthologies, to which he had also made at least one contribution of his own. According to the publisher's website, the last new publication from the publisher and from him as an author is an anthology of his fairy tales from 2002, which have only been followed by a few new editions of his older titles.

According to his own statements, his books have a total circulation of 2.6 million copies, some of which have also been translated into Danish, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Slovenian and English.
