Roland Lange

Roland Lange (born October 20, 1954 in Osterode am Harz ) is a German writer. His work focuses on crime novels with a regional background.

Life

Long studied surveying in Hamburg . After completing his studies in 1978, he worked in the cadastral office in Göttingen and later changed to the cadastral office in Osterode am Harz . In 2014, Lange retired from active surveying. Since then he has devoted himself exclusively to writing.

Parallel to his 'bread-and-butter' job, Lange has published books in various publishers and different genres since 1991. a. Short stories and youth novels. Lange also worked as a lyricist for various Christian singers. In addition, there is a stage play for amateur theater in his biography.

In addition to his work as a writer, Lange founded the Harz Crime Festival Mordsharz , which has been offering readings by national and international crime writers at various locations in the Harz region since 2011. Lange belongs to the 5-person festival organization team.

Roland Lange is a member of the syndicate , the Association of German Writers (Lower Saxony and Bremen) and of the 42 authors .
