Publishing program

How it used to be

In this series, cities and regions are presented using historical photos. Since 1985 110 volumes have appeared in this series, some of them in the second edition.

We from the vintage

In 2005 the publisher introduced the series of gift books "We from the year ...: Childhood and Youth", followed in 2007 by the series "We from the year ... - Grew up in the GDR". The volumes are each written by authors of a certain year, who in them reflect the collective memory of their peers of their youth. A total of 175 volumes have now been published in both series. According to the Wartberg Verlag, a total of over 2.5 million copies of the volume have been sold. Since September 2010 the series has been published in France under the title “Nous, les enfants de…” , for which a publishing office was set up in Paris . The series has also been published in Austria since spring 2011 .
