Roland Näf

Roland Näf (born November 19, 1957 ; resident in Tuggen ) is a Swiss politician ( SP ).

Life

Roland Näf grew up in Muri . After his training as a primary school teacher, he completed training as a secondary teacher and studied educational psychology and political science . Since 1986 he has been teaching at the Seidenberg School in Gümligen , where he has also been the headmaster since 1998. He is married with two children and lives in Muri.

politics

Roland Näf was a member of the large municipal council (legislature) of Muri from 1996 to 2002. In 2005 he was elected to the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern , where he was a member of the Finance Commission from 2012 to 2014. Since 2014 he has been a member and since 2017 President of the Education Commission and since 2017 a member of the Office of the Grand Council.

Näf was Vice President from 2008 to 2010 and President of the SP Canton Bern from 2010 to 2014 . He is a member of the trade union commission of Education Bern .
